The 2024 annual fundraising lunch was held on August 30, 2024 at NSW Parliament House, with all tickets fully sold out. We had the pleasure of awarding the annual grant to the Women’s and Girls’ Emergency Centre to support their critical gendered-violence support services.

We discussed the referendum on an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Voice at the 2023 annual fundraising lunch, held on June 2, 2023. Funds raised for the annual grant were awarded to the Yes23 campaign.

Jessie Street Trust held an insightful panel on the Future of Work at Gilbert + Tobin at Baragaroo, on September 15, 2022. The panel featured Jenelle McMaster, EY Oceania Deputy CEO and Markets Leader, and Associate Professor Elizabeth Hill, and was moderated by the Jessie Street Trust Chair, Elizabeth Broderick.

The 2022 annual fundraiser focused on the perspectives of young women activists, at our lunch held at NSW Parliament House on May 6. We heard from Bobbie Trower, Zahra Al Hilaly and Natalie Walker, in a discussion moderated by Jessie Street Trust Chair Elizabeth Broderick.

Woollahra Council honoured the life and achievements of Jessie Street by installing a footpath plaque outside Jessie’s home of over forty years at 2 Greenoaks Avenue, Darling Point. Several JST trustees and members of Jessie’s family were in attendance at the unveiling ceremony.
